With Avengers: Doomsday just two months away, few characters are more front of mind for Marvel fans than Tony Stark/Iron Man. Although Tony sadly died in Avengers: Endgame and that seemed to be the end of his and Robert Downey Jr.’s time in the MCU, the latter is back, now playing the primary antagonist of Doomsday, Doctor Doom. But even without Iron Man returning in Doomsday, he remains a fan-favorite MCU character—and now, one very lucky person could be walking away with his actual car.
Luxury car brand Acura, which is the make of this vehicle going up for bid, has chosen Cars & Bids as the host of the upcoming auction. The specific car for sale is the screen-used one-of-one concept Acura NSX Roadster from The Avengers. The exterior color is “hot rod red,” the transmission is manual and the body style is a convertible, perfectly suiting the flashy nature of billionaire Tony Stark himself.

Notably, this is a non-registerable manufacturer prototype, meaning that it cannot be titled or operated on public roads. Even with that limitation, however, this is undoubtedly among the coolest Marvel collectibles to ever hit the market. Here’s how you can make it your own.
Bidding for the car opens in one week, on Saturday, Oct. 17, live at the Cars & Bids Willow Springs Reimagined event. Bidding closes on Saturday, Oct. 31, live at the Las Vegas Concours. Bidding is open to anyone with a verified Cars & Bids account, anywhere in the world, and bidding begins at $100 (but there is no question that the actual cost will skyrocket throughout the two weeks that the auction will be open). Making the inevitable sticker shock a little easier to take is the fact that every dollar of the sale will be given to a charity of the winner’s choosing.
Those interested in the auction can register on the Cars & Bids website now to be ready to bid when the auction goes live.
