The news was announced in an episode released today (17 June), as Clarkson told co-stars Kaleb Cooper and Charlie Ireland of the diagnosis, both of whom were shocked.
He told them: "The prostate, 10 per cent of it's dead. The 10 per cent where the cancer is."
Upon hearing the news, Cooper grew teary, saying "I don't like this", to which Clarkson responded: "I wasn't thrilled."
"I've got cancer," the former Top Gear presenter told them. "I had a medical, remember, back in May?"
Prior to the release of the final two episodes, Clarkson released a video on social media, telling fans that it would be "a difficult watch".
"Somber now, Clarkson's Farm. Ordinarily we try to keep the show bucolic and charming and cheerful. But the final two episodes which drop in the middle of the night tonight... they're none of those things really. They are a difficult watch. They're really, really difficult."
