Bryson Graham has got his guy!
After a long and extensive coaching search conducted by new Chicago Bulls EVP Bryson Graham, the team’s head coaching vacancy has finally been filled.
According to Shams Charania of ESPN, the Chicago Bulls have hired former NBA champion and Portland Trail Blazers interim head coach Tiago Splitter as their next head coach.
Shams also reported that Splitter landed the role due to “his ability to lead the team’s player development, organizational alignment on the franchise’s direction and vision, and his leadership and knowledge base as a coach rising through the ranks since 2018 as well as a seven-year NBA player with one championship with the San Antonio Spurs.”
Tiago Splitter emerged from a finalist group that reportedly included Micah Nori, Ryan Schmidt, and Wes Unseld Jr., ultimately earning the trust of Chicago’s new front office to lead the franchise into its next era.
