Saint Laurent has its first deputy CEO, parent company Kering announced on Thursday. Anouck Duranteau-Loeper, who most recently served as CEO of Isabel Marant, will join the brand on July 1, reporting to Saint Laurent CEO Cédric Charbit.
“Anouck’s exceptional leadership, product expertise, and strong understanding of luxury brands make her uniquely positioned to help shape Saint Laurent’s next chapter of growth,” Charbit said in a statement shared with Vogue Business.
The introduction of the deputy role reflects the continued evolution of the brand under Charbit, who has steered the Parisian house since 2024. Working closely with creative director Anthony Vaccarello, Duranteau-Loeper will be leading product for the brand. This will span all product operations, from overseeing the studios to collection development and merchandising, with the aim of elevating the assortment and Saint Laurent’s global demand.
Charbit added: “As we continue to strengthen the house and invest in long-term value creation, [Duranteau-Loeper’s] experience and vision will be instrumental in further elevating our product strategy and execution worldwide.”
While Kering no longer breaks out earnings for individual houses, it reported that Saint Laurent delivered year‑on‑year growth in Q1 2026. The move to a brand of this size is a step up for Duranteau-Loeper, who spent almost 10 years leading Isabel Marant, alongside its eponymous founder. (Catherine Jacquet was named Isabel Marant CEO in May.)
At Isabel Marant, the executive led a strategic growth plan that included boosting the accessories business, relaunching menswear, repositioning the Marant Étoile diffusion line, and physical expansion in core markets. In 2021, she was elected president of the Chambre Syndicale de la Mode Féminine, France’s governing body for women’s fashion.
