The Shark TurboBlade fan isn't just your regular bladeless fan. In fact, it's the ultimate fan for living rooms and bedrooms—especially if you care equally about power and aesthetics. I live in the UK, a place without AC, so I've tested my fair share of fans from Dreo to Dyson. This one knocks all of the others out of the park, though. So much so that it's now officially my bedroom fan. It's the perfect size, offers so many speeds and mode options, and it sits nicely in my bay window.
The Shark TurboBlade Fan is usually $269.99, but right now it's on sale at Shark for less than $200, which is a total steal. The fan works in both small and large rooms, thanks to its customizable height design. While it's not a tabletop fan, it is definitely the best tower fan around—and the most impressive one I've ever tested. I've already managed to convince my family members to buy it for the summer.
Shark TurboBlade Fan—Ultra-customizable bladeless tower fan, pivots, twists, oscillates 180°, circulates and propels air, 10 noise levels + 10 speeds, easy to clean, dove, TF202SWH
Check PriceYou can point these vents towards the floor or up towards your ceiling, to cool even more of your space. The fan also claims to propel air up to 80ft, should you be lucky enough to have a room that large.
The Shark TurboBlade has 10 speeds and 10 noise levels, plus three modes: Sleep, BreezeBoost and NaturalBreeze. You can even set it on a timer for 1-12 hours. While this is admittedly a lot, once you get used to this fan's remote and find the modes that fit your lifestyle, you'll be a pro.
What I think of the Shark TurboBlade Fan
I've used this fan in my bedroom to keep us cool while sleeping when the temperature outside is soaring. We're in the midst of the hottest May on record in the UK, and this fan has truly been a lifesaver. In particular, its BreezeBoost mode was something to really rave about as it's a lifesaver when you're really struggling to cool down—but it is noisy, so you may struggle to hear the TV over it.
You can also angle its vents upwards or downwards, which is a game-changer when you want to cool something towards the floor, such as my dopey dog, Doug, who never knows what to do with himself in a heatwave.
Coming to Shark soon is an upgraded version of this fan that also heats—the TurboBlade Cool + Heat—which you can use year-round.
