The Phoenix Suns ruled All-Star guard Devin Booker out for Friday’s road game against the Los Angeles Lakers due to right ankle injury management.
The Suns have nothing left to play for in the standings over their final two regular season games, as they clinched the seventh seed in the play-in tournament.
Phoenix also listed guard Jalen Green as questionable with right knee soreness, Jordan Goodwin out with a sprained left ankle and Haywood Highsmith out with right knee injury management.
Green and Goodwin exited to the locker room in the first half of Phoenix’s win over the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday.

The Lakers have a back-to-back on Thursday and Friday and won’t have an injury report for the Suns game until after they play the Golden State Warriors. Teams on the second night of a back-to-back have until 1 p.m. local time the day of the second game to report injuries.
Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves, Marcus Smart and Jaxson Hayes are all dealing with injuries that kept them out of the lineup on Thursday.
The Lakers have seeding at stake, as they are tied with the Houston Rockets at 50-29 for the fourth and fifth seeds. The Lakers also have a small chance to catch the Denver Nuggets (52-28) for third at 1.5 games back entering Thursday. Los Angeles owns the tiebreaker against Houston and Denver but has to finish the year without their top two scorers in Doncic and Reaves.
The Suns will either play the Los Angeles Clippers or Portland Trail Blazers in their play-in game on Tuesday at Mortgage Matchup Center.
The Clippers and Blazers play each other in Portland on Friday. If L.A. wins, the Suns will host the Clippers. If Portland wins, the Blazers will be in control of their destiny for the eighth seed going into their season finale against the tanking Sacramento Kings.
Friday’s game begins at 7:30 p.m. MST on 98.7 and the Arizona Sports app.
