Jenner claimed that the largest portion of the amount, which equated to more than $273,000, came from credit card charges at companies like Shopify, eBay, 1stdibs and more.
Jenner also claimed Hutchins owed her more than $133,000 in shared legal fees for lawyers they retained together. Hutchins also allegedly took out $16,000 in debit card charges and $7,000 in cash advances over time.

Inside Caitlyn Jenner's Friendship With Late Sophia Hutchins
Jenner, for her part, spoke out about Hutchins’ death in August 2025. “Recently, my good friend Sophia passed away in a tragic accident,” Jenner said during a broadcast of Fox News at Night following a church shooting in Minnesota. “For the last seven weeks, I’ve been dealing with death, and it’s so difficult. So, when this [tragedy] happened, it really hit me hard.”
She continued, “Here I am dealing with my grief, and I just can’t even imagine parents who dropped their kid off at school and, like that father just said, ‘I’ll never get a chance to talk to him again.’ That is just so horrible. I’ve been dealing with grief, and these people have a long road ahead of them, and they’re going to be dealing with grief.”
Jenner and Hutchins met in 2015 amid the former Keeping Up With the Kardashians star’s transition. Hutchins went on to appear in multiple episodes of Jenner’s I Am Cait reality series and became the CEO and director of the Caitlyn Jenner Foundation.
“We met through our hairstylists,” Hutchins said on Heather McDonald‘s podcast “Juicy Scoop” in 2020. “He was doing my hair one day and was like, ‘I’m going to a photo shoot after this, something with Caitlyn and MAC. And Caitlyn would like to meet you.’”
Sophia Hutchins Didn’t Have Drugs in System During Fatal ATV Crash
Hutchins continued, “[I] went to the photo shoot. We kicked it off. I learned a lot about what was going on in Caitlyn’s life and I felt it was a financial s*** show, and so much money was being thrown everywhere. Nobody was running the show, her life. Kris [Jenner] was not doing it anymore since they were divorced, and I felt like I could do a really good job.”
While the pair’s close relationship sparked speculation they were romantically involved, Hutchins shut down rumors in 2021.
“Love the whole LGBT community but so tired of rumors that I am romantically with Caitlyn,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “I am only ever with men and only ever have been. Stop the rumors! It’s been years.”
