Lollapalooza, Chicago’s hallmark music festival, teased who might be appearing on stage this summer in Grant Park in a cryptic social media post on Saturday.
Ahead of the official lineup drop set for Tuesday, the music festival gave hints at some of the artists that will play at the music festival that is scheduled to take place from July 30 through Aug. 2.
In a post captioned “Get a taste if your 2026 lineup,” several images popped up over a blue and pink spiral background meant to look like a lollypop in an animated video.
First, an eye with stars in it comes up. Second is the phrase “I can learn how to fly,” followed by a hibiscus flower, then a bunny rabbit holding a bouquet of flowers in one hand and making a peace sign with the other, and lastly, something that looks somewhat like a sun, or possibly a flower, wearing a crown.
Some social media users left guesses in the comments.
“The bunny could be from drag path — twenty one pilots?!?!” one commenter said.
Many guessed the Foo Fighters would return to the music fest while others said the bunny could represent Bad Bunny and that the hibiscus could be for Zara Larson.
Last year, Lollapalooza headliners included Luke Combs, Olivia Rodrigo, Korn, Rüfüs Du Sol and Sabrina Carpenter.
Ravinia, another big Chicago-area music festival, announced its lineup for the 2026 season this week, with big names including Ricky Martin, Paul Simon, Lizzo, Bonnie Raitt, Chance the Rapper and more.
