2026 Hawaii High School Athletic Association Swimming and Diving Championships
Feb. 13-14, 2026 Keaau, HI SCY (25 yards) ResultsIt was a double repeat for Punahou at the 2026 Hawaii High School Athletic Association Swimming and Diving Championships.
The Punahou girls’ team won its 10th straight state championship, while the boys successfully defended the title they won last year.

It was a journey to the title for Punahou thanks in large part to senior Journei Webster, a Rutgers commit who swept the sprint freestyle events.
Webster won the 50 free in a time of 22.89, and then repeated as champion in the 100 free with a time of 50.65. Her personal best in the 50 free is 22.77, while her best in the 100 free is 49.57.
Webster was also a part of two winning relay teams.
In the 200 medley relay, Webster split 24.61 on the fly leg to help Punahou win in a time of 1:46.45. Other team members were Aina Sjoblom (32.85), Tai Misailidis (24.73) and Zoe Pang (24.26).
Webster later had a 50.06 leadoff leg to help Punahou claim the 400 free relay in a time of 3:31.97. Other team members were Kiani Morikami (54.87), Kona Flanagan (53.42) and Misailidis (53.62).
Committed to Drew University, Sjoblom also won two events for Punahou, claiming the 100 fly in 56.58 and the 100 back in a personal best of 57.15.
Punahou also got a win from Misailidis in the 100 breast in a time of 1:04.96. She swam a personal best of 1:04.63 in prelims.
The other multi-event winner individually was Iolani junior Olivia Wong, who repeated as champion in the 200 free in a personal best time of 1:50.56, and won the 500 free in 5:04.56.
Other event winners were:
Maui Prep senior Sacha Salem, a Hawaii commit, won the 200 IM in 2:08.58 after finishing 2nd last year. Kaiser senior Cara Tanabe won the 1-meter diving event with 369.05 points. The 200 free relay was won by Hawaii Preparatory’s team of Morgan Kearney (24.36), Kali Kennedy (24.51), Pemma Norbu (24.74) and Leonie Schmidt (23.99) in a time of 1:37.60.Girls’ Team Standings — Top 5

Punahou was led individually by sophomore Amare San Diego, who won two individual events and was a part of a winning relay team.
San Diego won the 200 IM in a time of 1:53.94, and then swam to a first-place tie in the 100 breast with Kamehameha Schools senior David Wong, both clocking identical times of 55.07. It was a repeat title for Wong.
San Diego split a 25.04 on the breast leg in the 200 medley relay to help Punahou win in a time of 1:32.61. The other team members were Max Regala (24.36), Flexx Faildo (23.11) and Kaito James (20.10).
Punahou swept all three relays.
In the 200 free relay, the team of Makoa Cox (21.48), Regala (21.49), Tyler Furudera (21.53), and Raihau Temanaha (21.55) won in a time of 1:26.05.
The 400 free relay was captured by Punahou’s squad of Faildo (47.67), Furudera (47.34), Temanaha (48.06) and James (45.40) in a time of 3:08.47.
In addition to tying San Diego for the 100 breast title, Wong also won the 100 fly, topping the field in a personal best of 50.74.
The other multi-event winner was Kamehameha Schools sophomore Cruz Storer, who claimed both sprint freestyle events. Storer won the 50 free in 20.18 and then swam a personal best time of 44.30 to claim the 100 free.
Other individual event winners were:
James, a senior, won the 200 free in 1:39.22 Holden Lahey, a senior from Hawaii Preparatory, won the 1-meter diving with 235.75 points.
