Two people were injured in an overnight hit-and-run crash in Denver’s Congress Park neighborhood, police said early Monday morning.

The Denver Police Department first posted about the hit-and-run near East Eighth Avenue and Josephine Street at 1:34 a.m. Monday. The intersection is just west of Congress Park and south of Denver Botanic Gardens.

Three drivers were involved in the crash, and one driver left the scene, police said. Paramedics took two people to the hospital with unknown injuries, but police officials did not specify which vehicles those people were in.
