Sally Field is celebrating a big birthday, and she’s admitting that her life doesn’t feel much different as she enters a new decade. The Academy Award-winning star turned 80 years old on Nov. 6, and she gave fans a gift: a rare photo of her at home as she toasted her milestone day.
In a photo shared to Instagram, Field posed barefoot in her kitchen wearing rolled-up sweatpants, a black tee and a denim shirt. A salad bowl was on the counter as was a bottle of red wine. In the photo, Field held up an open bottle of wine and an empty glass.
“So far, 80 feels like 79…but with a lot more wine,” Field captioned the post.
The actress received plenty of well wishes from friends and fans, including comedian and TV host Ross Mathews, who wrote, “Soooooo cute. Happy birthday!!”
Bravo host and producer Andy Cohen also commented on the pic, writing, “Happy birthday to the best neighbor I ever had ❤️.”
Field and Cohen were longtime next-door neighbors in New York’s West Village, according to Bravo.com.

When that happens to you, and you’re sort of taken out of the human race, so to speak − I don’t get to be a normal person in the produce section − I have a habit of not looking up at people’s faces. Because if you do, then they look at your face.”
In her birthday post, Field didn’t reveal exactly how she celebrated her big day other than drinking wine.
She previously joked that maybe she’d “climb Mount Everest” in honor of her 80th.
