The song has already delivered a string of notable chart moments, becoming the first to simultaneously top Country Airplay, Hot Country Songs and the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 (Feb. 14). It revisited the top of the Hot 100 (March 7) as Megan Moroney ruled Top Country Albums with Cloud 9 — marking the first time that two women who primarily record country music have led those charts in the same week.

Langley’s return to No. 1 on Country Airplay after a three-week absence is also unprecedented. Interrupted No. 1 runs are rare enough (“Choosin’ Texas” is just the 20th such leader since the list began in 1990), but none before had fallen from the top spot for as many as three weeks before reigning again.

Langley also becomes just the fourth solo woman with no co-billed acts to earn a multiweek Country Airplay No. 1 in the last 10 years. Maren Morris led for two weeks with “The Bones” in 2020, while Gabby Barrett and Lainey Wilson spent three weeks atop the chart with “The Good Ones” (2021) and “Watermelon Moonshine” (2023), respectively.

Multiweek No. 1s by solo women on Country Airplay have been uncommon across the chart’s history, as 57 songs by solo women have spent multiple weeks atop the tally, or about one in eight of all multiweek leaders. Those runs have often arrived in waves, from Faith Hill, Shania Twain and Jo Dee Messina in the late ’90s to Carrie Underwood’s mid-2000s dominance and more sporadic examples in recent years.

Do ‘Tell’

Jason Aldean’s new single, “Don’t Tell on Me” (Macon/Broken Bow), launches on Country Airplay at No. 21 (7.7 audience). The track is his milestone 50th entry and follows “How Far Does a Goodbye Go,” which became his 26th No. 1 (Feb. 21). Both introduce his LP Songs About Us, due April 24.

All charts dated March 14 will update Tuesday, March 10 on Billboard.com.
