ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A stationary front will help to support the development of snow showers today, with most snow being focused in the lakeshore counties. Highs will be in the low 30s and snowfall amounts will be between a dusting and 2″ depending on where you’re at.
You may have heard about a nor’easter forming this weekend… Thankfully that will not really be impacting us. What it will do, however, is drive in more moisture and convergence, allowing more snow showers to form. Some areas near the Finger Lakes may see some rain mixed in with the snow. Highs will be in the low to mid 30s.
Snow showers continue through Monday. Still Green on the Threat Tracker though, as total accumulations for today through all of Monday will be 3-6″. That’s more than manageable divided up over the three days. Colder and cloudy, but dry on Tuesday. Wednesday a clipper gives us more snow, and keep your eye on Thursday as we could be getting more mixed precipitation.
