As the dust settled on the second of three days of high school boys and girls wrestling state tournament action Friday night at Denver’s Ball Arena, a pair of local programs were in the driver’s seat for team state titles, numerous others remained in contention and nearly 30 individuals were positioned for state titles all their own.

The bulk of this weekend’s action, including Saturday’s finals, took place after the Tribune’s print deadlines.
