Page, a student at Arickaree Undivided High School in Washington County, exhibited his goat, Big Boy, during the event on Saturday, Jan. 17. The partnership was the result of a winning bid by 21st Century Equipment for a “partner experience” with Page at the Colorado FFA Meat & Greet event held in November 2025.
The National Western Stock Show, a 16-day Colorado tradition that drew nearly 700,000 visitors this year, serves as a final milestone for Page’s youth showing career.
“I have been attending the National Western Stock Show in Denver since I was 3 years old,” Page said. “I began showing cattle for myself when I was 8. I’m sad that as a senior, it will also be my last year showing in Denver”.
Throughout the season, Page provided the 21st Century Equipment team with regular updates on his progress. His recent schedule included livestock exhibitions in Cheyenne and the Arizona National Livestock Show in Phoenix. Beyond the show ring, Page’s experience includes assisting with difficult goat deliveries and learning farm maintenance skills such as welding H-braces for fences.
While Page has experience showing various livestock, he noted a particular affinity for his current work. “I have met a lot of successful goat breeders who have helped me with my own goat herd,” Page said, adding that he has “fallen in love” with showing goats more than any other animal.
Describing his goat, Big Boy, after the Saturday showing, Page said, “He’s just so friendly. He likes the attention”.
In addition to the partnership with Page, 21st Century Equipment showcased John Deere machinery at the NWSS and participated in paddle raises to sponsor youth participants across all livestock categories, including cattle, pigs, lambs, and goats.
“21st Century Equipment would like to thank Keith and his family for allowing us to be part of his journey to the NWSS,” the company stated in a release.
