Pop superstar Bruno Mars is playing an unusual Colorado show as part of his first headline tour in nearly a decade, promoter Live Nation said Thursday. He last played in Colorado at Ball Arena in September 2018.
Mars, who enjoyed the top-streamed song last year with Lady Gaga (the Grammy-winning “Die With a Smile”), is promoting his new album “The Romantic,” due in February, with close to 40 shows this year. That includes a Saturday, Sept. 26 stop at the nearly 40,000-seat Falcon Stadium at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.
Tickets for the concert, with openers Anderson .Paak as DJ Pee .Wee, and Kaye, are on sale starting Wednesday, Jan. 14, as part of Mars’ artist presale.
