News by : (Radio Times) -

Claudia Winkleman is back to oversee the latest game, picking three traitors in the traditional manner, before throwing in an additional Secret Traitor – whose identity is likely to be revealed next week.

That's about to change, however, after Stephen and Rachel put themselves in harm's way to reclaim power from their reclusive silent partner, who is now due to join them in the turret for the very first time.

Here's a quick list of players in The Traitors 2026 cast – read on for more details, including their headshots, ages, jobs and initial remarks upon joining the show.

Harriet

Job: Crime writer and former barrister

The Traitors is "one of the very few" reality shows that Harriet reckons she has the skill set for, having worked as a criminal barrister and now a crime writer.

"The idea that I might get to actually plot to kill people or to track down a murderer, but, you know, without actual blood being shed, it's the closest that I'd get to that experience in real life. So quite honestly, what's not to like?"

Stephen

Job: Cyber security consultant

Stephen loves The Traitors, so much so that he has been re-watching past seasons to get into the headspace and "examine the certain things that people have done that were so normal to them but others found weird."

Judy

Job: Child Liaison Officer

Judy applied for The Traitors because she thought she could do it and saw it as a "great opportunity to do it at [her] time of life".

She added: "I just think that the whole experience will be incredible, and I will never, ever experience anything like this again."

Ross

Job: Sales exec and personal trainer

After some of his clients started talking about The Traitors, Ross applied for the show on a whim.

Asked what he thinks he'll bring to the show, Ross said: "I like to think I'm a good judge of character. I think it'll be a fun, interesting adventure, and a cool opportunity, I'm actually really excited."

Ellie

Job: Psychologist

For Ellie, she finds The Traitors to be "so psychologically interesting" and enjoys "analysing what everyone's doing and thinking through why they're convinced that they know something, when to the viewer, they're quite clearly wrong" when watching the show.

It was from that, she knew she "had to get involved" and understand the game for herself.

Netty

Job: Nursery school teacher

Netty thinks The Traitors is "one of the most amazing games" someone could play, and wanted to do something for her and to have fun.

She explained: "Purely selfish reasons, but I just wanted to have some fun and do something that allowed me to get a little bit of myself back. I like delving into people and finding out about them, so I am excited to meet everyone and get to know them."

Fiona

Job: Local government officer

Fiona has never applied for anything like The Traitors before, but decided to take the leap as she enjoys watching the show.

She explained: "I think it's the most authentic reality TV show, and I'm not big into reality TV. I think because it's a game which requires a lot of tact and a lot of psychological manoeuvres, it just appealed to me."

Jessie

Job: Hairstylist

Jessie applied for The Traitors to challenge herself and allow her to meet new people.

"I know it will test me," she said. "Which is good and what I need."

Rachel

Job: Head of communications

Rachel has played the game Mafia for 15 years and is a competitive person "through and through", and so she thought to give The Traitors a go.

She said: "I will do anything to win. Nothing's off the table. I'm very good at knowing the difference between reality and a game."

Amanda

Job: Retired police detective

Amanda was immediately drawn to the game when she first watched The Traitors and thought it was something she could win.

She added: "To be a Traitor, you have to be good at lying, have a good poker face and be a master of deflection to prevent you being identified. I’ve learned a lot about being deceptive, devious and cunning.

"On the other side of the coin, I am a good person, and I became a police officer to help people. You have to be nice and calm, even when there's a big storm around you. I’d bring all these skills into the game, whichever role I am assigned."

Hugo

Job: Barrister

Hugo is admittedly "obsessed with The Traitors" and has seen every episodes across the UK, US, Australia and New Zealand formats, adding that he finds it to be "such a fascinating game".

He said: "I’m a barrister so I talk to juries, but they go off and make the decisions in a quiet room so I never get to see it, but this, you just think, how could you be so wrong? I can't take my eyes off it, I love it."

Jade

Job: PhD Student

Jade plays a lot of video games which are similar to The Traitors so she thought "why would I not?" when she had the chance to apply for the show.

Sam

Job: Account manager

Sam has been a big fan of The Traitors, describing the show as "a breath of fresh air and authentic fun, but also a tonne of emotions, gameplay and competitiveness".

He explained: "It really kind of suits my character and I'm at the stage in my life now where I just want to have as many amazing experiences as possible. I applied on a whim, and then suddenly we're here."

Adam

Job: Builder

Adam loves a contest and the thought of being able to outthink people excites him, and he's ready to win the game.

"That's it, simple," he said. "I'll play whatever hand I need to play and that's it."

Reece

Job: Sweet shop assistant

Reece has always been competitive and signed up for the show, because how many people can say they've been on The Traitors?

"I don’t think I’ve done anything in my life which is so unique, and because I also have that competitive edge, I’m excited to see what I’m able to do," he explained.

Maz

Job: Civil servant

Maz loves the essence of The Traitors, whether it be the missions, the conversations or the relationships made in the game, and so he applied.

"I'm told that I'm good to get on with and I'm funny - my kids say I'm funny looking. I think I can bring some humour, some chilled out moments, some interesting thoughts, and I think I will be able to add to the jigsaw of the game."

Faraaz

Job: Internal auditor

Faraaz applied for The Traitors as he is a "huge fan" and after watching series one, he thought it would be something he'd love to be part of and immerse himself in.

Roxy

Job: Recruiter

The first six years of Roxy's life were rocky and, for her, having lived experiences of adapting to different situations, meeting new people and figuring out who to trust she believes will take her really far on the show.

Matthew

Job: Creative director

Matthew's new year's resolution was to have more adventures and while he meant more hiking, canoe trips and camping, he also gave a chance on applying for The Traitors.

Jack

Job: Personal trainer

Jack is a "massive fan" of The Traitors and wanted to do something that meant he'd have to step outside of his comfort zone.

"It just takes one slip up and you could be gone," he said. "You've got to be so locked in both physically and mentally."

Ben

Job: Retired

Ben was "intrigued" after watching The Traitors, having never seen anything like it.

"I was taken in totally and kept saying it's like Columbo and Agatha Christie looking for Judas Iscariot."

James

Job: Gardener

James didn't start watching The Traitors until the second season "because people nagged [him]".

"It's like a beautiful lovechild of Midsomer Murders and poker," he said.
