With her new holiday album, Christmastime, and current tour, Trisha Yearwood is getting fans into the Christmastime spirit.
During her concert stop on Wednesday night (Dec. 10) at Atlanta Symphony Hall in Atlanta, as part of the Christmastime With Trisha Yearwood: 12 Days of Christmas Tour, Yearwood got a little help from husband and fellow country artist Garth Brooks in making the show extra special for the audience.

Brooks surprised the audience by joining Yearwood onstage to perform the original song, “Merry Christmas, Valentine,” which is included on Yearwood’s Christmastime album. Yearwood and Brooks also co-wrote and recorded the song together.

Earlier in the day on Wednesday, Yearwood marked the couple’s 20-year wedding anniversary with an Instagram post of the couple together, captioning it with, “The very best part of the last 20 years has been you. Merry Christmas, Valentine. I love you. Trisha”
Yearwood’s Christmastime album marked her first holiday album since 2016’s Christmas Together with Brooks, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard‘s Top Country Albums chart. Her last solo holiday project, The Sweetest Gift, was issued in 1994 and reissued in 2000.
Yearwood will continue with her Christmastime tour through Dec. 20, when the holiday-themed shows conclude with a concert at the Palace Theater in Louisville, Ky.
Christmastime is the second album Yearwood has released in 2025. It features her renditions of several classics, such as “Santa Claus is Coming to Town,” “My Favorite Things” and “Blue Christmas.” In July, Yearwood issued the album The Mirror, which featured 15 songs, all of which she co-wrote. She crafted the album’s songs with songwriters including Bridgette Tatum, Erin Enderlin, Jim “Moose” Brown, Leslie Satcher, Hailey Whitters and Steven Dorff.
