Instagram influencer CostcoHotFinds was among the first to share the news, revealing that the pastries don’t have the traditional crescent shape shoppers might expect from a croissant. Instead, each one is formed in its own shallow paper baking cup, with the flaky pastry folded around the filling.
“They’re so FANCY and so good,” she captioned a video that showed her testing a sample of the new bakery treat. She noted the outside is “crispy, buttery and caramelized,” with a tangy inside that balances it out “perfectly.”
