The state recorded 823 bankruptcy filings during October, the highest monthly number since prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, up from 717 for the same period a year ago. Colorado recorded 753 bankruptcy filings in September.

In the Boulder Valley and Northern Colorado, filings were up in Boulder, Larimer and Weld counties, and unchanged in Broomfield.
