One fan account on X wrote, “Respect Halsey and DO NOT touch her or anyone like this without their consent,” while other fans have condemned the action on social media as well. “Have we not learned respect?” one fan responded. “There’s no excuse for this.”
Halsey is deep in the midst of the Back to Badlands Tour, which began in Los Angeles and is scheduled to continue through February.
