GREECE, N.Y. — To celebrate its grand opening at the Mall at Greece Ridge, Boscov’s will be hosting a three-day celebration.
The celebration starts Thursday with “Charity Day.” People who make a $5 donation to a participating nonprofit will be able to go into the store that day, being one of the first people to see it. See the list of organizations and learn more here.
For the first 2,000 customers in the store’s candy department Thursday, they will get a free chocolate-covered pretzel.
Interior designer and HGTV entrepreneur Sabrina Soto will be there Thursday as well. People will have the chance to meet her from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
Friday is “Family Day.” The store will be open to everyone. There will be Peanuts inspired giveaways and snacks, as Peanuts and the Gang hunt for the “Great Pumpkin.”
From 3-7 p.m. Friday, people can take a photo with Snoopy. There will also be an opportunity to get a photo with Snoopy Saturday from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Saturday is the last day of the celebration. There will be a ribbon cutting at 9:30 a.m. The ribbon will be made of $100 bills that will go to various local nonprofits.
The three-day celebration will wrap up with a fireworks display at 9 p.m. Saturday. People can tune into Brockport 89.1 the Point to hear synchronized music during the show as well. People should park on the Boscov’s, Barnes & Noble, and Target side of the mall.
