ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Seneca Park Zoo celebrated first responders Saturday by hosting Frontline Heroes Day.
Guests had the opportunity to meet local firefighters, police officers, dispatchers, and healthcare professionals while exploring the zoo, participating in a scavenger hunt, and getting an up-close look at emergency vehicles.
“It’s a culmination of things that went into it, we get serviced a lot with the first responder teams, frontline heroes, and we wanted to pay a little tribute to the service they give,” said Richard Mikiciuk with the Seneca Park Zoo.
The event was included with the cost of admission or zoo membership.
