One day before the NBA officially tips off its 2025-26 season, the Chicago Bulls unveiled their newest City Edition look.
The new uniform is a spin on the organization’s first-ever City Edition jerseys from the 2017-18 season, which featured a white base with a red Chicago script lined in light blue across the chest. This revamped version switches up some of the colors. The jersey and shorts now hold a black base with a light blue Chicago script bordered by a classic red. There are also light blue stars from the famous Chicago flag that appear on the side of the jersey.
Another subtle but unique touch comes right above the jersey patch. The phrase “Sweet Home” can be seen in the same light blue as an ode to the classic blues song.

When Will the Chicago Bulls Wear the City Edition Jersey?
Fans are going to have to wait quite some time before they get their first real look at the Chicago Bulls’ newest look. The team will not sport them until their Dec. 3 meeting with the Brooklyn Nets. Overall, they will wear them a total of nine times throughout the 2025-26 campaign.

As someone who has long been a fan of the original city edition look – and a hater of several looks to come since – I’m a big fan of this one. The blue is always a tad bizarre, but I can appreciate the nod to the Chicago flag. I’m also an enormous sucker for the Chicago script, so you’re going to get a thumbs up from me whenever that’s included.
I know I may be a tad biased, but the Bulls sure feel like they’re going to have one of the best jersey lineups in the league this season (if only their starting lineup was as good!). They already have an iconic home and away uniform, but add these clean city editions to the return of the red pinstripes, and we’re really cooking!
