It’s beginning to feel like Halloween in the Best of the Week as the Greeley area begins to embrace the spooky season with events for the whole family.
A craft show, another Oktoberfest and a meaningful walk start off October, too.
Saturday
The Fall 4-H Craft Day is from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the 4-H Building at Island Grove, 527 N. 15th Ave., Greeley. It’s open to the public.
The 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer’s Weld County is from 9 a.m. to noon at the University of Northern Colorado Garden Theatre, located between Carter, Gunter and Gray halls. The walk starts immediately after the 10 a.m. ceremony. To register, donate or volunteer, go to tinyurl.com/4p57vww2.
Wiley Roots Brewing hosts a car show from noon to 3 p.m. at the brewery, 625 3rd St., Greeley. There will be plenty of cars and a selection of beers.
Family Halloween trivia starts at 2 p.m. at the LINC Library, 501 8th Ave., Greeley. This family-friendly event will feature spooky facts about the holiday and scary movies. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.
Sunday
The Weld County Garage Waffles and Cars event starts at 8 a.m. at Weld County Garage, 2699 47th Ave., Greeley. The event is hosted by the Corvettes West Car Club.
Tuesday
Oktoberfest at Bartran Homes is from 3-7 p.m., at 10417 W. 12th St., Greeley. There will be food, beer, prizes and other family fun.
Wednesday
Teentober Halloween Garland starts at 4 p.m. at the Farr Library, 1939 61st Ave., Greeley. The event will have attendees turn balls of yarn into ghosts, pumpkins and other Halloween favorites.
Thursday
Bex Marshall, along with the Greeley Blues Party House band, takes the stage at 7 p.m. at the Moxi Theater, 802 9th St., Greeley. Marshall is a U.K. British Blues Award winner and a four-time European Blues Awards nominee. To purchase tickets, go to moxitheater.com. Tickets start at $19.
Friday, Oct. 10
Kim Frederick-Law hosts the FLOW opening reception from 5-7 p.m. at Syntax Distillery and Cocktail Bar, 700 6th St., Greeley. The reception is a collection of Frederick-Law’s favorite fluid acrylic paintings. There will be cocktails and mocktails, too.
