A Ukiah woman convicted of embezzling more than $200,000 from her former employer has been sentenced to more than seven years in prison, the Mendocino County District Attorney’s Office reported. According to the office of DA David Eyster, Sonia L. Lau, 36, of Ukiah, was sentenced to 96 months, an amount described as the maximum allowed by law.
