Two people, a father and his son, were killed and one more person was injured on Tuesday evening in a collision between a double-cabin pickup truck and a transport vehicle on the Hurghada – Ras Ghareb Road, at kilometer 70 toward Ras Ghareb.
Ambulances rushed to the collision site, where the two deceased were revealed to be Mahmoud Tamim Hussein, 62, and Ahmed Mahmoud Tamim, 35, both from Minya Governorate.
Khaled Mahmoud Tamim, 27, sustained a suspected fracture in his right leg and bruises to his vertebrae. He was transferred to Hurghada General Hospital for treatment.
The relevant authorities continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
