Damascus, SANA-, Italian Embassy in Damascus announced Monday it reopened its cooperation department in a step to strengthen relations with Syria.
The Chargé d’Affaires of the Italian Embassy in Syria, Stefano Ravanian said in a statement on X platform “I am thrilled to announce the reopening of the Embassy’s Cooperation department with our staff based in Damascus.”
“This is an important step in strengthening our operational capabilities in the country and intensifying communication with all parties in Syria,” Ravanian added.
On January 10, Italy reopened its embassy in Syria following a visit to Damascus by Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani.
