The exhibition spans an impressive area of 95,000 square meters, offering space for various commercial, cultural, and artistic activities over a ten-day period, running from August 27 to September 5.
Economic Significance and RevivalThe return of the Damascus International Fair marks a key milestone in Syria’s economic revival after a prolonged recession. According to Ezzedine Hawout, Director of Public Relations at the General Organization for Exhibitions and Foreign Markets, the fair will highlight Syrian products and strengthen global trade links with Syria.
“The gardens and water features are fully prepared, designed to reflect Syria’s heritage,” Hawout added, noting that surprise announcements are expected during the opening ceremony.
