ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The city and the Rochester Housing Authority celebrated the opening of new affordable housing at Bronson Court Townhomes Thursday afternoon.
Located off Dr. Samuel McCree Way, the townhomes have been transformed into two and three-bedroom units complete with full basements and porches.
“This is truly changing the face of public housing,” said Florine Cummings, the chairperson for the Rochester Housing Authority Board of Commissioners. “This is not a project. I don’t even consider it a site. This is a part of a community that’s here in our city and we can be so proud of it.”
Bronson Court is conveniently located within walking distance of community resources such as a library, parks and bus stops.
