New Black Eyed Pea planned for former Outback in Fort Collins ...Saudi Arabia

Sport by : (GreeleyTribune) -

Black Eyed Pea, the Englewood-based eatery chain, plans to open a new Fort Collins restaurant at 807 E. Harmony Road this fall, a company representative confirmed Wednesday to BizWest.

The spot known for Southern-style cuisine has plans to offer a “newer concept” in terms of food and atmosphere at the new location, said Elyse Mast, Black Eyed Pea a marketing employee. She did not offer more details.

Black Eyed Pea had a restaurant in Fort Collins about 15 years ago, Mast said, which was on South College Avenue near Troutman Parkway.

“We love the area … we have quite a few connections there,” she said.

The new location at Harmony and Timberline is a former Outback Steakhouse restaurant.

The company has hired a general manager for the Fort Collins location and is looking for workers. Plans call for the restaurant to open in the November time frame.

Black Eyed Pea currently has eight restaurants in Colorado: Castle Rock, Colorado Springs, Englewood, Lakewood, Northglenn, Parker, Pueblo and Westminster.
