DENVER (KDVR) — A semitruck rollover crash closed all but one westbound lane of Interstate 70 on Friday evening, leading to heavy traffic delays.

The Aurora Police Department first reported that all westbound lanes of I-70 had been closed as a result of the crash, which was reported just after 5 p.m. to police and shared on social media at about 5:40 p.m.

The crash was reportedly a semitrailer rollover, and one person reportedly had minor injuries.

The agency also said that westbound traffic was being diverted onto Tower Road, but did not update on that detour after announcing that one westbound lane remained open.

Colorado Department of Transportation cameras showed a truck on its side on the shoulder of the interstate, almost under the Tower Road overpass. Police were on scene and traffic was moving slowly.
