WOLCOTT, N.Y. — New York State Police say they have arrested a 17-year-old and 33-year-old after a “domestic incident,” in the Village of Wolcott.
On July 17, state police say they responded to a home on Lake Avenue and found Devell Taylor with multiple stab wounds. He was brought to SUNY Upstate Medical Center for treatment.
According to state police investigators, they found that a 17-year-old had stabbed Taylor as he became “physically aggressive,” in front of four children and tried to stop Taylor by stabbing him multiple times.
The 17-year-old was taken into custody and charged as an adolescent offender with the following:
Assault in the second-degree. Criminal possession of a weapon.He was arraigned in Wayne County CAP Court and released to the custody of a relative on electronic monitoring.
On July 20, Taylor was also charged with the following as a result of the investigation:
Criminal mischief in the third-degree. Endangering the welfare of a child. Harassment in the second-degree.NYSP: 2 charged following investigation into stabbing in Wolcott WHEC.com.
