The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) has released its weather forecast for Friday, July 11, 2025, through Wednesday, July 16. The EMA warns of extremely hot and humid weather during the daytime across most regions, transitioning to warm and humid conditions at night and in the early morning hours.
The EMA added that water mist (fog) is expected from 4:00 AM to 8:00 AM across northern Egypt, extending to northern Upper Egypt. This fog may be dense at times today, Friday, July 11, on some roads leading to and from Greater Cairo, the Nile Delta, northern coasts, Canal cities, and central Sinai.
Wind activity
The EMA also noted active winds Friday, July 11, along the coasts of Salloum and Matrouh, with wind speeds ranging from 30-45 km/hour and wave heights of 2-2.5 meters.
The authority further indicated that from Friday, July 11, until Wednesday, July 16, there will be intermittent wind activity in areas of the northern coasts, Nile Delta, Greater Cairo, and South Sinai.
