DENVER (KDVR) — Boulder County first responders removed a dead male body from Barker Reservoir on Sunday.
The body was discovered just after noon on Sunday, July 6, by a person fishing at Barker Reservoir, who said they saw a body floating face-down in the reservoir.

The Nederland Fire Protection District responded to the scene and confirmed that there was a dead male body. The body was recovered by Boulder Emergency Squad's cold water dive team.
The Boulder County Coroner's Office will be in charge of determining the body's identity, as well as the cause and manner of death.
The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, Nederland Fire Protection District, Boulder Emergency Squad, and the Boulder County Coroner’s Office all responded to Barker Reservoir on Sunday afternoon.
