ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A 10-year-old boy was hospitalized after being hit by a car on Bernard Street in Rochester. The incident occurred just before 7 p.m. when a group of kids were playing between Hudson Avenue and North Street, officials said.
The boy ran into the street, and a passing car attempted to avoid him but was unable to do so, police said. Officers expect the boy to survive.
