Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong, and Will Friedle played Topanga, Shawn, and Eric on Boy Meets World, and they’re still close. They continue to touch on stories that hit them hard throughout their run on the series via their podcast, “Pod Meets World,” and now they’re delving even deeper with their latest book.
Book Meets World promises to give readers a peek around the curtain, as they share inside jokes that showed up on screen, offer never-before-seen photos, and memories of a bygone era. This is the quintessential release for every single Boy Meets World and Girl Meets World fan out there.

When Star Trek first started, it was set as a five-year mission, but now, 60 years later, it has captivated the world. Even though the original series only ran for three seasons and two movies, it would grow into a franchise nobody ever dreamed would be possible. And now, Star Trek: The Original Voyages by Kyle Newman and Jeff Bond brings the official visual history of that original series, with a foreword by William Shatner.
The release marks a bittersweet moment, as the world continues to mourn the loss of Patrick Stewart and Walter Koenig. While Stewart’s Jean-Luc Picard wasn’t part of the original series, Koenig’s Pavel Chekov was, and there are some touching tributes to the man in the collection of original interviews and previously unpublished images.

If you love a thriller where you’re just as in the dark as the lead narrator, then you’ll need to read Before I Disappear by Cate Quinn. This is one of those stories that leaves you guessing all the way to the end, as you only get fragments of the memories April Anderson has.
April is a criminology professor, but she’s woken up in a motel room with no memory of how she got there. To make it worse, she looks nothing like she remembers, and she learns that she’s under police protection because she’s the only witness to a horrific crime. When she finally gets in touch with her fiancé, she learns that she can’t trust the police. But the police say she can’t trust him, so what’s really going on? Sometimes, you just have to rely on yourself, even with fractured memories.

If you love Chinese mythology, historical fiction, and fantasy all rolled into one, then Bones of Jade, Flesh Like Ice by Gracie Marsden is a must. This novel involves a shapeshifting demon, Taiwanese myth, and the topic of grief, as we follow a young woman on a dark and lonely journey.
It all starts in the 11th century, as Yu’er is sold off to be married. She’s far too young, and to make it worse, she’s been sold off to a demon who promises her parents unimaginable wealth. Things actually turn out okay for Yu’er at first, but then the demon strikes again, and soon Yu’er realizes that with great love comes great sacrifice. Is it worth it, even when it seems to be the right thing to do for your family?

Want a paranormal romance that has a little more humor? Need a fantasy that’s set in the modern world? Swipe Bite by Alexandra Vasti is a must-read. It puts vampires in the corporate world, and mixes in social media and technology in a way that makes it wholly relatable.
Sophronia Vegas is a vampire and heir to HemoCorp Industries. She’s devoted her entire being to this company her family founded, and she’s even led the creation of Stokr, a wildly successful dating app. This is a place to connect humans and vampires — and not for eating! — but suddenly the app goes haywire, and human software engineer Casey Amato knows that it wasn’t a glitch. The two will need to work together to save Sophronia’s dream, and there may be a little bit of romance thrown in there.

It’s another romantasy, set in a fractured realm where Houses war and a Prime rules with tyrannical power. The hope for everyone is that they can get a little bit of power by finding the god-shards, and Revel’s brother was murdered in the search for one.
Now it’s time for Revel to avenge her brother’s death. This Wretched Alchemy takes you on a wild ride that has a hint of The Hunger Games, as Revel realizes that her only option is to take part in a bloody contest called The Call. With failure meaning death, all hope is on Revel completing the challenges and reaching the end, where she’ll get to kill the Warbringer. What happens when the Warbringer turns out to not be the monster she believed?
