OAKFIELD, N.Y. — A 36-year-old man has died after the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office says he hit a deer while riding his motorcycle early Tuesday morning.
Deputies say Michael Wilson was traveling west on Lockport Road in Oakfield when he hit a deer that went into the road. They say Wilson lost control of the motorcycle which resulted in him being thrown off his motorcycle.
Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene by the Genesee County Corner’s Office.
