Six months after sharing her breast cancer diagnosis, Vanessa Trump revealed she is cancer-free.
On October 23, Vanessa’s daughter Kai Trump (who Vanessa shares with ex-husband Donald Trump Jr.) posted a video on Instagram in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Kai says in the clip, “My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in April, so we thought we would share her story and how she was diagnosed and how she overcame it.”
Following Kai’s stunning admission that her mother has already overcome breast cancer, Vanessa added, “And it came back clear, so I am finally cancer-free.” The announcement is just a tease of a longer video that Kai will debut on her popular YouTube channel later this weekend.

In an emotional Instagram post, she wrote (on May 20), “I want to share a personal health update. I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan. I would like to thank my doctors for performing a procedure earlier this week on me. I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me.”
The following month Vanessa posted, “I wanted to share an update on my cancer journey. Over the past four weeks, I’ve been recovering from surgery, and I’m grateful to be healing and moving forward. Soon, I’ll be starting the second stage of my treatment. Sending love, strength, and hope to everyone fighting this battle.”
Her June update was the last time the mom of five spoke out about her cancer journey. That is, until now. Over the past few months, she’s popped up in Kai’s YouTube videos and in her family’s Instagram photos of her daughter’s high school graduation. She also made headlines by supporting her boyfriend, Tiger Woods, at a Martin County, Florida, court hearing for his DUI case.
In August, 19-year-old Kai spoke candidly about her mother’s health, telling Fox News Digital, “My mom, she’s doing a lot better. Kind of after treatment, she wasn’t feeling very good. Just like how treatment will make you feel…but she’s getting a lot better now.”
