Despite the likelihood of being selected in the 2025 NBA Draft, Arizona Wildcats forward Carter Bryant can’t remember the last time he looked at a mock draft.
For Bryant, just making it to the league is a dream in itself.
Arizona's Carter Bryant could stay in State 48 if he's selected by the Suns tomorrow with the 10th pick.
But to him, it doesn't matter where he ends up:

“Nikola Jokic got drafted during a Taco Bell commercial and he’s the best player in the world right now,” Bryant told reporters. “I just see myself kind of progressing day by day. … That’s my only focus to get better every day.”
As for where he might end up when the dust settles? A look at what those around the league are thinking hours out from the NBA Draft.
Where is Carter Bryant being mocked ahead of NBA Draft?
ESPN’s Jonathan Givony and Jeremy Woo — No. 10 overall to the Phoenix Suns
Bryant has had a positive predraft process and appears ticketed for the late lottery, with interest coming from Phoenix following the Suns’ trade into the No. 10 spot; Toronto at No. 9 and Atlanta at No. 13 are also closely linked as landing spots. … Though Bryant isn’t expected to create much of his own offense in the near future, his ability to shoot from range, add value as a passer and guard all over gives him a realistic pathway to becoming a lineup fixture.
Bleacher Report’s Jonathan Wasserman — No. 10 overall to the Suns
Teams are expecting someone in the late lottery to target Carter Bryant. He’s become a hot name during the predraft process, while his size, shotmaking and defense create a coveted archetype.
On3’s James Fletcher III — No. 10 overall to the Suns
The Phoenix Suns jump into the Top 10 after trading Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets, leaving them a surplus of shooting guards and a lack of frontcourt talent. Adding Carter Bryant to a team which is in need of defensive stability at the forward spot could help the long-term and short-term goals.
Yahoo! Sports’ Kevin O’Connor — No. 10 overall to Suns
With this pick, it would make sense for the Suns to target more defense and it’d only make more sense to turn to a product of Arizona. Bryant is a rangy, athletic forward who projects as a highly versatile defender. And though he’s raw as a ball-handler, he’s a skilled spot-up shooter and a hyper-aware cutter. At a minimum, he has the baseline skills to be a great role player with the upside to someday be much more.
NBC Sports’ Noah Rubin, Kurt Helin and Raphielle Johnson — No. 11 overall to the Portland Trail Blazers
The Trail Blazers have already made one significant move, acquiring Jrue Holiday from the Celtics in exchange for Anfernee Simons and two second-round picks. While a bit raw offensively, Bryant has the size and athleticism required to be an impactful defender. Portland does have ample depth on the wings, but this would give them a little more time to develop Bryant instead of throwing him into the fire immediately.
CBS Sports’ Kyle Boone — No. 10 overall to the Suns
Bryant was merely a bit player in his one season at Arizona but his big frame and promise as a two-way wing who can defend and shoot make him a potential lottery pick in this year’s class. He could add a 3-and-D dimension to a Phoenix team now set to move forward with Devin Booker and Jalen Green as its top two options.
