Ashley McBryde Covers 77-Year-Old Music Icon's Song and Completely Nails It ...Saudi Arabia

Time and time again McBryde proved she's had the chops, but at the 2025 CMA Fest, she put her money where her mouth is with a gorgeous cover of Don Henley's "Boys of Summer."

So many attendees said her performance was the perfect way to kick off summer, and did the cover justice.

"This woman is an artist all around," boasted another.

Henley's 1984 song has been covered by dozens of artists, most notably by The Ataris in 2003. The founding Eagles member got unlikely help from one of Tom Petty's Heartbreakers Mike Campbell after Petty rejected the song due to the heavy use of synthesizers, according to American Songwriter.
