Ever since Cole (J. Eddie Peck) returned from his business trip of touring Newman Publishing divisions, something has been wrong. Cole has had a persistent cough since he came back to Genoa City. The cough isn’t just an ordinary cold either, because that’s not the Y&R way.
Despite him telling Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Claire (Hayley Erin) it’s nothing to worry about, Y&R fans know that it’s not true. Spoilers for The Young and the Restless reveal that things go from bad to worse for Cole, leading to troubling news for Victoria.
Cole was brought back in 2023 to help introduce Jordan (Colleen Zenk) and Claire. When it was discovered that Claire was Cole and Victoria's not-so-dead daughter, the exes soon reunited.
Peck is a great actor, but he’s not being utilized on the show. So, killing Cole and using his death to prop up other storylines makes sense. Cole’s death would open up more storylines for Victoria, and not just romantically.
