More than 200 flights headed in and out of Denver International Airport were delayed on Thursday after the Federal Aviation Administration issued a ground delay.
As of 8:50 a.m. Thursday, 232 flights had been delayed and one had been canceled, according to flight tracking software FlightAware.
The FAA issued a DIA ground delay at 8 a.m. for “low ceilings,” which refers to the lowest level of cloud cover. The ground delay is scheduled through 1 p.m. Thursday but could be extended.

Alaska Airlines, Frontier, JetBlue,Copa Airlines, Icelandair and Key Lime Air all delayed between one and five flights at DIA on Thursday.
