ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Halloween is finally upon us! And the forecast is anything but scary, though it will be a little cool. We’ll see some lake clouds Friday night and to start Saturday morning. But high pressure build in will help to clear most of those lake clouds, giving way to a mostly sunny sky. Temperatures will be in the upper 30s and lower 40s to start the day, and we’ll end in the mid 50s under a mostly sunny sky.
The Trick or Treat forecast will be a little cool. For the younger kids heading out just after dinner, temperatures will hover near 50 by about 5-6 o’clock. Then we’ll be dropping into the upper and mid 40s by 8 or 9 o’clock. The good news is we’ll be dry and we’ll also see a mainly clear starlit sky.
We fall back Saturday night/Sunday morning (technically we set our clocks back at 2am Sunday morning) as Daylight Saving time comes to an end. This means our sun sill rise Sunday morning at 6:45am and set at 5:02pm. Meanwhile, our weather will be lovely on Sunday with a partly to mostly sunny sky and temperatures turning milder. Highs will reach into the lower to mid 60s after starting in the upper 30s.
Then we’re headed up! Another warming trend is on the way for much of next week. We’ll be flirting with or into the 70s starting Monday and likely through at least Wednesday, possibly into Thursday. We’ll be timing out our next storm system, which will bring increasing chances of much needed rainfall by Thursday and Friday.
