In the caption that accompanies the video, Andreeva said that this recipe was inspired by Egyptian Fried Boiled Eggs from her friend Suzy at The Mediterranean Dish. She says if you are tired of boring hard-boiled eggs, these fried hard-boiled eggs are the answer you need. Once I saw the video, I was convinced.
To make fried hard-boiled eggs, start by hard-boiling and peeling your eggs. Next, heat up some olive oil in a skillet. Add the whole peeled hard-boiled eggs and cook them until they're golden and crispy in spots. The yolk may seep out a little, but that's ok! The result is golden, crispy eggs that are firm on the inside with a delightfully lightly crunchy exterior and a smooth, creamy yolk.
