Jasprit Bumrah will now be heading to the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru, where he will be monitored and will begin his recovery. A source close to the developments said that Jasprit Bumrah will be fit by the start of March. While confirming that the fast bowler has back swelling, he said that the pacer will also be playing practice games before making a comeback. Speaking to Indian Express, he said:

The reason behind him getting injured was potentially his workload. The premier India carried the bowling lineup for the team single-handedly and bowled over 150 overs in the five games. He was the leading wicket-taker in the series as well with 32 wickets to his name.
