Triple Oakland shooting leaves two dead, one hospitalized ...Middle East

(KRON) – Two people were found dead and one injured after an Oakland shooting Friday night, according to the Oakland Police Department. This marks the fourth and fifth homicides of the year for Oakland.

Around 10 p.m., Oakland police officers responded to a ShotSpotter notification in the 5500 block of Telegraph Avenue. Upon arrival, police found three victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

Paramedic personnel responded to the scene. OPD said two of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene. The other victim was taken to the hospital where they are listed in stable condition. 

The victims' identities are being withheld until the next of kin is notified, according to OPD.
