The reality star, 37, took to Instagram to share the sad news that her father died, writing that it was “so difficult to even make this post.”
Speed-Hamilton shared a series of photos with her father, from sweet childhood moments to him walking her down the aisle at her wedding to Love Is Blind co-star Cameron Hamilton.
She captioned the 13-picture carousel with a long message, writing, “On December 25th, I lost my father, my backbone, and my first love. For those who’ve followed me or met me through Love Is Blind, you’ve seen firsthand how much I loved my Dad + he loved me. He was always my biggest cheerleader/protector, and I’ll forever be a Daddy’s Girl.”

Fellow Love Is Blind cast members gave their condolences in the comments. “This was heartbreaking to read, I’m incredibly sorry for your loss Lauren. Wishing you and the family strength and love through this difficult time ??,” wrote Season 4 contestant Brett Brown.
Iyanna McNeely from the show’s second season wrote “I’m so incredibly sorry for your loss. Sending love and strength ??️,” and Season 6 contestant Jessica Vestal wrote “Friend I'm so sorry.
