EDITOR’S NOTE: The following is a summary of crime reports taken from the Greeley Police Department’s daily logs. Only a few of the hundreds of reports will be used in this weekly column because of space limitations.

Nov. 30

9:00 a.m.: A caller at a credit union in the 3500 block of 10th Street reported a man sleeping in the ATM room in the front lobby.

9:00 p.m.: A caller at an education center in the 1600 block of 17th Street reported a homeless man was pooping in the alley even though the center let the man use their bathroom not long before.

Dec. 1

2:00 p.m.: A caller at a convenience store in the 1400 block of 9th Street reported a man outside acting sporadically, punching the air and moving around for the past 20 minutes.

2:15 p.m.: A caller at Glenmere Park reported someone vandalizing the gazebo and throwing Christmas ornaments all over the park and into the lake.

3:00 p.m.: A caller in the 800 block of 9th Street reported seeing homeless activity in the area over the past week. The caller found stolen mail while cleaning up and wanted to report it to police.

4:00 p.m.: A caller in the 200 block of N. 35th Avenue reported an injured cat with no eyes. The caller was worried it was going to “get him.”

Dec. 2

10:00 p.m.: A caller in the 1700 block of Greeley Mall reported finding an airtag on the outside of her vehicle that linked to her ex.

2:30 p.m.: A caller in the 1400 block of 25th Avenue reported a cat that didn’t belong to her had been hanging around her apartment for the past week or so.

7:30 p.m.: A caller at a convenience store in the 2500 block of 11th Avenue reported getting a flat tire without the tools to change it. She was hoping she could get some help.

11:00 p.m.: A caller in at a grocery store in the 2700 block of 11th Avenue reported a man in a “red, black and white Michael Jackson thriller-style leather jacket had been trespassed, but he was back and “getting rowdy.”

Dec. 3

2:00 a.m.: A caller at an apartment complex reported a man either asleep or passed out in a white truck with its headlights on. The caller heard a bang and it looked like the man had backed up into a Blue SUV.

8:00 a.m.: A caller at the Greeley Police Department reported she went to jail on Nov. 19 and officers still had her backpack. She was wondering when she could pick it up.

3:45 p.m.: A caller at an auto care company in the 4600 block of Centerplace Drive reported a customer threatened an employee and the corporate wanted the employee to file a police report to have the customer trespassed.

4:00 p.m.: A caller at 35th Avenue and 24th Street reported a white SUV jumped the median and hit a traffic sign that is now leaning into a northbound lane of 35th Avenue. A caller shortly after reported he wasn’t able to get over in time and the sign shattered her side mirror and front window.

6:30 p.m.: A caller in the 4900 block of 30th Street reported their neighbor looked like they were dealing with a rabid raccoon in their front yard.
