AUSTIN (KXAN) -- A student was allegedly stabbed at Manor Senior High School by another student, a spokesperson for the Manor Independent School District told KXAN Tuesday. A student is now in police custody, according to the district. A call came in to Austin-Travis County EMS around 12:45 p.m. for a report of the stabbing at the high school, the agency told KXAN. Medics arrived on the scene and attempted life-saving efforts on the student but were unsuccessful. The student was pronounced dead on the scene, according to ATCEMS. In a letter sent out to the high school that was provided by the district spokesperson, the stabbing happened after an altercation between two students.
